Below you will find examples of how I make extra money.  I also include how I earn gift cards.  I share ways to earn both on and offline.  Stay tuned as I continually update this list.  I am always looking for ways to supplement my income.

Get Paid to Click

Get Paid to click ads, read emails, conduct Internet searches, complete surveys, play games, and more!  You won’t get rich but you can earn some extra cash to pocket. Many people use these sites throughout the year to fund their Christmas spending.

  • YouData – Get money deposited in you PayPal account every Friday!
  • BeRuby – Earn cash each time you visit popular sites including MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, YouTube, and more!

Get Paid to Give Your Opinion

  • Market Research/Focus Groups – So far I have only done a couple market research studies but it was easy money, fast, and fun!  Click here to read about one of my market research experiences and how you can get started earning cash too!  Search for studies on Backpage.  Select your region and click on focus group/studies under the jobs heading.
  • Global Test Market - Take surveys and earn points.  As soon as you reach 1,000 points, you can cash out.

Get Paid to Write

Earn money by writing online articles.  If you like to write at all, you should be getting paid for your work.  There are several sites that will pay you in exchange for your content.

  • Squidoo – This website it so fun and can put some extra cash in your pocket.
  • Hubpages – Similar to Squidoo, Hubpages allows you to create mini web pages called hubs.  Let your imagination run wild and earn a few bucks in the process.

You can also earn money by writing thoughtful reviews of products, services, or places.  Here are some sites that will compensate you in exchange for your reviews.

  • Review Stream – Earn cash for every review your write and when someone votes on your reviews.

Get Paid to Shop:

Secret Shoppers (aka Mystery Shoppers) wanted by many different types of businesses and companies.  There are several different Secret/Mystery Shopping agencies that you can join for free.  Don’t ever pay to become a Shopper!

Here are the companies that I am a mystery shopper with.  Due to my schedule, I don’t get to accept as many jobs as I would like.  I will add companies as I find them so please check back often!

Enter contests, sweepstakes, and blog giveaways.  You have to enter to win!  I have won cash, CD’s, concert tickets, gift cards, coupons and more.  Blog giveaways are my favorite because the odds are so great.  Here are some places to find giveaways to enter:

If you have a knack for taking photographs, you could be earning money from them.  There are several sites that will pay you for submitting quality photos.  You will find a few of the most popular sites listed below:

  • CanStockPhoto -Photographers can submit their photos and earn money on this great site!
  • dotPhoto – Earn cash from your photos at dotPhoto.  Get started here.
  • Shutterstock – Make money from your photos, illustrations, vectors, and footage.
  • FotoTime – For professionals and amateurs alike, FotoTime will pay you cash for your photos.
