When it comes to investing, we always hear, “Diversify, diversify, diversify.” Why is it that we never hear the same in regards to our income? Most of us have all of our income “eggs” in one basket, our job. The problem with that is if you lose your job, you lose all of your income. However, if you receive income from multiple sources, if you lose one, you will still have other income coming in.

I am on a mission to diversify my income and create multiple income sources. If you also want to diversify your income, follow along. I have created a LONG list of ideas and resources for creating alternative income. Everything on the list is something that I have already tried, am currently pursuing, or am planning on trying in the very near future.
I originally tried to include the entire list in one post. But, it was just way too long. So, I have broken the list down into categories. I am starting with the smallest income streams first. “Earn a little and turn it into more,” is my philosophy. Every little bit helps, especially if you are in debt.

Online Surveys and Get Paid To Sites:
There are several legitimate survey companies that offer money in exchange for your opinion, even just for a few minutes of your attention. You definitely won’t get rich this way but you can earn some extra spending cash. The key to making money with these type of is to get some referrals. Earning a little bit from each person who signs up under you gets to to the cash-out level much quicker. Here are the sites I personally use to get extra money or gift cards and the amounts I have earned with them so far. Some of them I just recently started using so my amounts are quite small.

- Snap Dollars: $9.90 ~ I have only used Snap Dollars the paid emails but there are several other ways to make money.
- Dollar Surveys: $13.25 Dollar Surverys is another site that has no minimum payout. You will usually see the money deposited into your Paypal account with a week.
