Check out my deals & steals from CVS and Walgreens for the week of 7/11 thru 7/17. My final cost for both CVS and Walgreens trips was less than $2!
CVS
Here’s the breakdown:
- 1 pack of Papermate pens, osf 99¢, earns 99¢ in EBs = free
- 1 pair of Caliber 5″ soft-handle scissors, osf 99¢, earns 99¢ in EBs = free
- 1 tube of John Frieda Root Awakening shampoo, osf 2/$5, used $3/1 coupon from the 6/6 SS, earns $5 EBs wyb 2
- 1 bottle of John Frieda curl enhancing mousse, osf 2/$5, used $2/1 coupon from the 6/6/ SS, earns $5 wyb 2
- 1 bottle of Complete contact lens solution, osf $7.99, earns $7.99 in EBs = free
- 2 bags of Chex Mix, osf $1, used 50¢/2 coupon from the 6/13 SS
(The pens and scissors will only produce EBs on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.)
Used $2 in EBs
Spent $15.02 total out of pocket
Earned $15 in EBs

- 1 24-pack of bottled H20, osf $3.99 (was supposed to be $3 but I forgot to give the cashier the in-ad coupon – URGH!)
- 2 packages of Ritz Bitz Nabisco crackers, osf $2/$1, Used $1/2 coupon from the 5/16 SS = free
- 2 packages of Combos, osf 99¢, used $1/2 coupon from the June edition of All You magazine
- 2 boxes of Jelly Belly freeze pops, osf $1 each (I can’t get enough of these things!)
- 1 mini seedless watermelon, osf $1 (When did Walgreens start selling produce?)
Used $7 in RRs
Spent $1.97 total out of pocket
